Hi everyone,

I want to get the time averaged (say ~15s average) of the variables like velocity profiles, temperature, mass flow at a cross-section of the geometry.

I can stop fluent simulation and get the value after every few time step iterations and then average it out, but that will be too time consuming and tedious. Is there anything I can do to get the time averaged properties for the required time span?

Thank you in advance.

Hi, I think It will be more convience to use "Define-Adjust" to record the data and then save to the udm or uds?

I think the built-in option in Fluent  "Custom Field Function" can solve the problem. After defining the desired parameters, use "data sampling" to average-out those parameters.
